  • Average Height: Small deciduous tree that maxes out at around 25 feet.
  • Average Width: typically has a spread of about 15 feet.
  • Leaf Description: All leaves are elliptic with a tip. About 2 to 5 inches long. All located near the branch tips.
  • Bark Description: Mature bark is gray/brown and lightly furrowed.
  • Twig Description: Not many leaves except at the end of the twigs or branches.
  • Flowering: Fragrant white flowers grow on the tree. Occurs in late spring/early summer.
  • Needle or Broadleaf: Broadleafed
  • Comments: Performs well in colder climates. They also prefer partial shade.
