The Utah Community Forest Council is a clearinghouse of urban and community forestry information for the purpose of increasing public awareness of the benefits of tree care, to advocate for the care and management of community trees, and to provide service to the communities throughout the state.
TreeUtah is a state-wide, volunteer based, non-profit organization. Our mission; “Improving Utah’s quality of life for present and future generations by enhancing the environment through tree planting, stewardship, and education”.
The State Forester’s office provides techinical assistance, training, and grant oppertunities for cities, towns, arborists,non-profits and others interested in promoting urban & community Forestry in Utah.
Nestled high on the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains overlooking the Great Salt Lake and Salt Lake City, Red Butte Garden and Arboretum features thousands of trees, making it one of the largest collections in the western United States.
